2022 was the 50th anniversary of BMW M, and they released some truly sublime motor cars (albeit somewhat... weighty). We're truly back in to an era where the Munich brand leads the way in terms of performance saloons. Back in the late 80's, they revealed the first ever M3 - the E30. At the time, it changes what a performance car was - although it had just two doors, supercar-chasing performance with real rear seats just didn't exist.

This example has covered just 7,600km after a full overhaul and boasts the all important maintenance history. It's 2.3L 4-cylinder engine is paired with a 5-speed manual (an ever increasing rarity in today's M division). This one comes with some of the real goodies from the factory, with heated seats, air conditioning, original (and still sublime) dark rims and a few other goodies. These cars have shot up in value in the last few years, and are likely a sound bet for the future. Just promise you'll drive it.
