Every F40 is a good F40. But this one? This one sits atop of the pile. We've been searching for a fine example to feature and this one ticks all of the boxes. Produced during the middle of the production run, this single owner F40 has covered just under 1000km since new. Yes, it's a little sad it's been used so little... but it does mean someone is about to get quite the buy.

This car almost doesn't need a description, but let's remind you. A 3L V8 with twin-turbos. That's attached to a manual (h-pattern) gearbox, with all power going to those whopping rear tyres.

As the last car Enzo saw, its fitting that this wasn't an easy car. At the time, Ferrari had started to get a reputation as a luxury car brand and less affiliates with "sport-i-ness". This put quite the stop to this. It had a reputation of being brutal (and slow off turbo), but once those turbos were singing - watch out.

Back on to this lot. It's coming up for auction during the Monterey Bay car week and is likely to be one of the stars. With service bills (one totalling 60k$ recently) aplenty and one owner, it's extremely rare and is in exceptional condition. It even comes with the original books and tools. A true, true one off.
